Urgent: Help Needed for Daniel’s Recovery After Violent Assault

We are reaching out with a heavy heart and a request for support. Just after midnight, on Tuesday Daniel was the victim of a violent and serious crime while out for a late-night run. Daniel was confronted by someone questioning his presence in the area, he was physically assaulted by the man and left injured.

Daniel’s injuries are serious: he lost consciousness and when he came to, he was disoriented and covered in blood, with a large wound above his eye requiring stitches, a fractured jaw and occipital bone(back of the skull). He received care at Froedtert Hospital and will be in a neck collar for the next six weeks, and also must adhere to a strict no-chew diet for 6 weeks in hopes for the fracture in his jaw to heal. He will not be able to work for a minimum of 6 weeks while he heals.

The Milwaukee Police are actively investigating this violent assault.

Given the gravity of Daniel’s situation, we request support for:
