First and foremost
Our family values and appreciates all the love, support, well wishes, and prayers we’ve received. We truly prioritize these above anything else. However, if you feel inclined to contribute financially, we are humbly accepting help here. All donations will go directly toward Daniel’s medical expenses and his ongoing care. Thank you.

Kudoboard contributors
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I’ve reached out to the Kudoboard team in hopes of transferring the funds to our GoFundMe page to better align with our overall fundraising goals.

Details of the donors and their contributions are pending based on the team’s cooperation.

Update: Your contributions have been aded to the GoFundMe Page, listed as anonymous donations.

Our Promise to You:
To everyone who chooses to provide financial support, we guarantee full transparency. Upon request, we will provide a comprehensive ledger of all purchases. At this time, the funds will primarily be used to cover my brother’s medical expenses, inpatient PT/OT, cost of care, recuperating damaged goods, legal fees, various therapies, and General Bills due to loss of wages. - David

Incident Information & Well Wishes
Dear Friends and Family,

With a heavy heart but also immense hope, I’m saddened to inform you that on Saturday morning, (September 28th) Daniel was involved in a serious head-on motorcycle collision on his way to work. He was hit by another driver. Witnesses reported that the other driver had swerved into oncoming traffic, colliding with Daniel, splitting his bike in half, and ejecting him across the road.

Daniel is now fighting through the aftermath of multiple fractures—his sternum, ribs, scapula, pelvis, hand, and femur. In addition to these injuries, he has a list of internal injuries as well. Daniel has undergone one surgery, and has more scheduled.

Through it all, Daniel has been showing such strength, but as you can imagine, the road ahead is filled with both physical and emotional challenges. In these moments of struggle, it can be difficult to find hope, and this is where we ask for your help.

Our family would like to create something special for Daniel: a collection of video messages from the people who love him most. (Similar to what he did for my birthday a couple of years ago) These messages will be a source of strength and comfort that he can return to again and again—especially on days when the journey feels impossible.

We’re asking, from the bottom of our hearts, if you could take a few moments to record a video for Daniel. It could be anything—a memory, a joke, a message of support, or just reminding him how much he means to you. We want him to know he’s not alone in this fight and that we’re all here cheering him on, every step of the way.

Feel free to post multiple times ~ A Short & sweet video, maybe a long and sincere one! (Our mom loves hearing from his friends, she can’t read)

Please note you’ll have an option to make a private video, or a public one.

Private videos will only be seen by Daniel and myself (as I’ll likely have to show it to him). You can find this option by clicking an “eye” icon.

Public videos will be visible to anyone who posts on the shared message board, and they may be played in public spaces in the future. If possible, we kindly ask that you keep your message appropriate for such settings.

You can upload your video, picture, message here: https://www.kudoboard.com/boards/5HVHOXXC

[We hope to show him the board by the end of next week, September 9th, but we’ll most likely have him continue checking it throughout his journey.]

Your words will be more powerful than you know, and I have no doubt that hearing from you will help Daniel find the strength he needs to keep pushing forward.

Thank you so much for your love and support. It means the world to us—and most of all, to Daniel.

With deep gratitude and love,
David
