Help Daniel Overcome Accident Challenges

My name is Daniel Morasco, and I come to this platform with great humility and am humbled beyond words.

On 02/24/25, I had an accident while I was doing a favor for a friend of mine, and the result of the fall left me with a broken right femur and a severely broken right wrist.

There’s no insurance policy to compensate as my friend was at the end of a lease and relationship, and I was just trying to help ensure she was able to recoup her security deposit so that she could retain her last bit of dignity and get into a new place with her young son.

At the time, I was part owner of a handyman/home repair business that I’ve had to say goodbye to due to my overwhelming recovery needs and lack of mobility due to the circumstances.

The day of the accident, my life came to a halt. Being in the first year as a business owner, the bills were getting paid as the work was completed, along with the everyday cost of doing business and personal and professional bills. Needless to say, I had about $900 in the bank, and with the cost of a new phone since my old one broke in the accident, prescriptions, and gas for doctor visits and physical therapy, bills are now toppling me and taking a toll on my mental health with everything else that I’m enduring.

I have a storage that’s 2 months behind, car insurance has lapsed, and now my registration is suspended, which comes with a $250 fee. Registration is due next month, but the day before the accident, the check engine light came on, so the indeterminate fees with that, and not to mention next month, I won’t even be halfway through physical therapy, so that’ll be another month of insurance and storage along with my phone bill and gas for PT. I’m just waking up worse off every day I get up and get back on my leg to figure out how I will walk and be able to earn a living in the future. The weight seems only to increase with relief coming at the grace of my loved ones who are barely getting by themselves.

Anything helps, and I know that if I have it, I’ll do it for any one of you every single time I have the honor to, in the past and moving forward.

I’m just a man who’s trying to make it all make sense, and I need a hand up right now because I’m scared that this situation is going to break my spirit, and I have to make it out of this. I just have to.
