Help Daniel With Brain Tumor Recovery

Daniel and his wife Mariah have been diligently making preparations for Mariah’s Abdominal Tumor removal on the 22nd of January. This past Tuesday (the 23rd of November) Mariah was jolted awake at around midnight by the sound of Daniel gasping and suffering a seizure.

 

He was rushed to the ER and that morning they found a grade 2 glioma (Brain Tumor) taking up about 1/4 of his cranial cavity.

 

The severity of the situation was clearly communicated upon his transfer to the Northeast Methodist Plaza. Dr. Osama Ahmed, who is generally booked a year in advance, expedited his surgery to yesterday morning (Nov. 27)

 

Daniel is currently recovering from surgery in the ICU. That being said, Daniel, Mariah, and their son Jayden have a grueling road ahead of them. He will have to go through Physical and Speech Therapy just to walk and talk again. He may also need to receive Chemotherapy to mitigate any potential recurrence.

 

Throughout this upcoming season and chapter of their life, Daniel will not be able to work and his wife Mariah will also be enduring her own Tumor removal and Chemotherapy all the way out in Houston as well.
