Help Daniela attend college

Hi, my name is Daniela, and I am currently in my last year of high school. I recently applied to my eight favorite colleges and have been accepted to three- while still waiting to hear back from the other five (early to late March).

Among the three colleges that have accepted me are Pace University and the University of Illinois at Chicago- two of my top picks. I have received some scholarships from both of these schools, but I am still in desperate need of financial assistance in order to attend these academic institutions.

Even with these scholarships, I am still extremely short in funding for college. I am hoping to get some help to achieve my dream of attending a university and limiting the financial burden on my mom and me.

Any donations would go towards tuition, room and board, books and other college-associated costs. Below is an estimated breakdown of the cost of attendance for university:

Tuition: $48,152

Room and board: $21,300

Fees: $1,875

Books/supplies: $800

Transportation: $600

Personal Expenses: $1,400

If I were to meet my goal of $100,000, I would be able to pay for roughly three years of schooling at Pace University. My college decision is based entirely on how much I can fundraise, and these costs are based on estimates that I have received thus far.

My lifelong goal has been to attend a quality university, achieve a bachelor's degree in psychology, and secure a solid foundation to become a research psychologist down the line. It all starts with my college education, and I would appreciate nothing more than to be able to attend the university of my dreams. As an honors student with a 4.29 GPA and a list of extracurriculars, I have always worked my hardest in order to one day secure a spot in a good university and to ensure a successful future. Growing up with a single mom, I always appreciated what I had and never asked for too much. However, with this pivotal moment in my life, I decided that it was time to reach out and ask for help.
