Help Daniela’s Family Find Answers - Justice for Daniela

On Tuesday, October 15, Daniela, a vibrant 30-year-old woman, vanished without a trace in Costa Rica. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, and beloved friend—a beautiful soul who cared deeply for animals, the earth, and the people around her. Daniela’s energy was contagious, and her heart was full of kindness.

She was last seen at a restaurant, Olas, captured on video surveillance leaving the bar at approximately 11:30 PM. That was the last known moment of her life as we know it.

Despite the unbearable pain her family is enduring, the Costa Rican authorities searched for only three weeks before closing the case, claiming her disappearance was likely an aquatic accident—even though there was no evidence to support that conclusion.

Daniela’s family is devastated. Her mother, who has lost her greatest treasure, deserves answers. Her friends and loved ones refuse to let her story end in silence.

We believe there are people who know the truth but are not coming forward.

We refuse to let Daniela’s disappearance be in vain. She deserves justice. Her family deserves justice.

With little support from officials, Daniela’s family is left to search for answers on their own. This is why we are asking for your help.

We are raising funds to offer a reward for anyone who provides credible information to Daniela’s family and the OIJ —information that could lead to uncovering the truth of what happened or the whereabouts of Daniela. If no one comes forward, the funds will be redirected towards other efforts to seek the truth, such as hiring a private investigator or pursuing additional resources to assist the family in their search for answers.

El martes 15 de Octubre, Daniela Escobar, una mujer de 30 años llena de vida y luz, desapareció sin dejar rastro en Costa Rica. Daniela era hija, hermana, tí­a y amiga - una persona con un alma noble, un amor inmenso por los animales y la naturaleza, y una energía vibrante que iluminaba a quienes la rodeaban.

La última vez que se la vio fue en el restaurante Olas, donde las cámaras de seguridad la captaron saliendo del bar aproximadamente a las 11:30 PM. Ese fue el último momento en que se supo de ella.

A pesar del profundo dolor de su familia, las autoridades costarricenses solo buscaron por tres semanas antes de cerrar el caso, concluyendo que su desaparición fue probablemente un accidente acuático - aunque no hay evidencia alguna que respalde esta teoría.

La familia de Daniela está destrozada. Su madre, que ha perdido lo más valioso de su vida, merece respuestas. Sus amigos y seres queridos se niegan a dejar que su historia quede en el olvido.

Creemos que hay personas que saben la verdad pero no están hablando.

Nos rehusamos a dejar que la desaparición de Daniela sea en vano. Ella merece justicia. Su familia merece justicia.
