Help Danielle beat lymphoma...

About 6 months ago, my sister discovered a lump near her collarbone. She went to the doctor who said it was nothing to worry about...a swollen gland likely due to COVID. The next few months were very hard on our family. With our mother battling cancer of her own, Danielle put everything on hold to be there for her. She left her job, spent months in hotels and hospitals, and spent every day possible with her. Our beloved mother tragically passed away in June, something we are all still recovering from.

A few weeks ago, Danielle went to the doctor to get the lump checked again. This time, the doctor referred her to a surgeon because they recommended removal of the lump which wound up being swollen lymph nodes. She was told that a biopsy could be done in lieu of removal, but biopsies commonly come back as negative...incorrectly. The surgeon recommended complete removal so they could do a conclusive biopsy. We received news yesterday that Danielle has Hodgkins Lymphoma.

We are looking forward to her starting treatment and beating this. The prognosis is, thankfully, good but know she will be incurring tremendous medical bills. This is on top of medical bills the family is still trying to cover for my mom. Some examples of what is ahead of Danielle: Chemo port placement, chemo, fertility/freezing eggs, etc.

I always looked up to my sister growing up, and still do. I know she has made a positive impact on so many lives and helped us countless times. Now is our turn to help her as the medical expenses are overwhelming. Helping her cover these expenses gives her one less thing to worry about, and she can focus all of her energy on fighting this disease.

None of us are good at asking for help...let alone money...but feel it's necessary in this case. We thank you for anything you can offer to help Danielle through this.
