Nobody is prepared for cancer. Especially not twice, but here we are. 
Hello, I’m Danielle and here’s a little of my story. In 2019 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer just after turning 28. I went through chemo, radiation and surgeries. All has been well until I started to not feel well In September 2021. I returned to my cancer team who ran some tests who then informed me the cancer was back. And worse. It’s now stage 4 metastatic. I have cancer in my hip, spine, shoulder, neck, liver and lung. With it being metastatic, it is incurable but treatable. I’m currently taking chemo in the form of a pill and will soon be doing radiation to the neck. I also get a monthly injection to stop my ovaries from producing estrogen and an injection to strengthen
my bones. Almost daily, I experience extreme nausea and fatigue as well as chronic pain from the cancer itself. I have no appetite and have lost so much weight that 95% of my clothes don’t fit. With all of that being said, I could use a little help. Just because I’m sick doesn’t mean the bills stop and responsibilities are over. My fiancé, Derrick, works as much as he can to provide for our family is 5. But it just isn’t the same as having 2 incomes. I’m hoping to get back to work when I complete treatment but For now, anything offered helps.
