Help Danielle with Pop's Funeral

Hello,

My name is Diane I am a best friend to Danielle Del Presto she is struggling and in shock over the death of her father and now she has discovered that he had no preparation or plans for his funeral and burial.

He deserves more than that. Danielle’s father worked 2-jobs until he had a stroke.  He did everything he could for his family until he couldn’t. But now he has no savings.

I watched Danielle care for her father after his stroke until that became impossible and he went on hospice and died.

The story gets worse as Danielle is an only child and a divorced mother of two who is also helping her mom who broke her hip on the day he died.

Danielle does not have any family to which she can turn, so I'm asking for help from my friends and the rest of the Christian community for some assistance with the bills that are rapidly piling up for funeral and burial expenses. 

Until now we had no idea how expensive it is to buy a casket, a modest stone, and a gravesite, just to pay someone to open the grave plot is $800!

We all called Danielle’s parents Pop’s and Mimi as they always opened their arms to everyone that walked into their home.  From adopting Danielle as they also adopted the rest of us as a family is not always blood.

Danielle has found herself to be overcome with the anguish and regret that comes with not being able to provide a decent farewell or final resting place for this loving father and husband without turning to others for help.

So I decided to help Danielle ask for help and spread the word.  She is raising her boys as her father did her. Believing in the importance of giving to the community and helping.

For as long as I have known Danielle she is not the type to seek assistance as she is always a giver to a fault.  Can we come together for her and her family?

As this is her last resort, her employment was affected by COVID her hours and the time lost dealing with Mimi and Pop’s, she is just not able to pull it all together. 

Please help her family if you can anything is appreciated.
