Help Malhotra on the road to recovery

Hi - I'm Heather, Danny's wife and I always hoped I would never have to start one of these. Danny was in a bad motorcycle crash on July 7th in Colorado on a bike trip with his best friend. We are unsure how it happened as there were no witnesses (most likely poor road conditions) but he is currently in the ICU in Colorado Springs. I'm still waiting on more updates, but he has a long road ahead of him to recover. His injuries include a collapsed left lung, multiple fractures along left side, fractured ribs, fractured spine (mostly neck), extremely injured ankle and broken tibia and fibula. There could be more injuries as they monitor him but overall he's pretty banged up. We don't know what the recovery looks like at this point but we had a positive update today with his intubator taken out and he is finally breathing on his own. I'm told he will need to stay here at least another couple weeks before the swelling goes down enough for the next surgery. This gofundme page would be to help with medical expenses and house bills while he is undergoing treatment and out of work. Any and all help is greatly appreciated and if you know us, we HATE asking for assistance. So I wouldn't be asking if I wasn't worried about taking this burden off, keeping our home, and taking care of our 2 small children.
