Hi, my name is Daniel Draganov and I'm fundraising to help my family with expenses for racing at Daytona with WKA in December and the 2024 race season.

I'm 10 years old, and I race in Sportsman and Cadet classes with my 2021 Nitro kart and LO206 motor (4 stroke). Car racing is my true passion and my dream is one day to race in professional motorsports like Formula 1, Formula 2/3/4, IndyCar or other.

I started racing when I was 7 years old (2020) at my local kart track (Badger Kart Club). I absolutely loved being behind the wheel, and in my first season of racing (2021) in the Badger championship, I finished 3rd in Cadet class. I moved to Sportsman class the next year and in 2022 I finished 4th in points at Badger's club racing championship as well as 4th in Road America's club racing championship. Last year we managed to race at Daytona and I had a lot of fun racing against some of the best kids in the country. I finished 3rd by points and had great battles with my fellow competitors.

During the last two years I learned a lot and felt ready to do some national level racing. I love going to new race tracks, finding the race line, and where the grip is. This year (2023) I competed in two local club racing series, one divisional racing series and two national events.

CKNA Grand Nationals: Cadet Class 3rd Place
CKNA Spring Nationals: Cadet Class 3rd Place

Earlier this year I had a chance to try a 2 stroke kart and I really liked racing it. I'm looking to help my family and try to raise some funds to continue to race in my 4 stroke kart as well as try to race next year in a 2 stroke kart. Being in the race sear is extremely important to me and I'm hoping to use some of the funds raised to race again at WKA Daytona Kart Week (Dec 28th - 30th 2023). There are a few more races this winter that I would like to go to as well so your support is very important to me.

This fundraiser will help pay for things like:

Coaching ($$)
Engines ($$$$)
Tires ($250 a set), need minimum one new set per race and many top runners use 2 or 3 sets per weekend
Entry fees ($300-400 per race)
New racing equipment (suit $400, shoes $150, helmet $800)
Travel expenses and other

My dad and I are up against some very well structured teams, drivers who receive regular coaching, and have top notch equipment. Many times we end up racing on user racing tires or stretch the life of a new set so we can use them longer.

My goals for 2024:

Keep learning and developing as a racer
Compete on a national level with my 4 stroke chassis at CKNA (Cup Karts North America)
Gain more experience racing in 2 stroke kart
Compete on a national level with a 2 stroke kart
Keep racing at my local kart track and keep going to new tracks

Since I don't currently have any official sponsors if you would like me to run some stickers on my kart in support of your business I would be more than happy to do so.
