Help Danny Recover After Car Destroys His Home

I’m sure you’re all very familiar w/ my loving son, Danny Rafferty. On Nov. 16 2021 9:40PM a driver (under the influence) drove an SUV through my son’s apartment, where he was present w/ his wife & 3-yr old son. He was taken to the hospital but thank God he wasn’t severely injured (minor scrapes & bruises). The driver didn’t have insurance & my son has been struggling to obtain any compensation on the driver’s end. He’s attempted to get damages covered through the owner’s insurance but unfortunately renters aren’t covered for displacement & apartment damages. My son didn’t have renter’s insurance, so there isn’t much help available. The apartment has since been deemed unsafe to live in so my son & his small family’s since been living in a hotel that he’s paying out of pocket. He’s very proud & would never ask for help but I love him & I’m struggling to see him suffer like this. I believe that traumatic situations like this take a village to build back up. ANY help, big or small, would be such a blessing & is so greatly appreciated.
