Help Danny Ryan. He's fighting metastatic cancer.

April 11th, one week after Easter Patty took Danny to Christus South ER in Tyler. He was having pain in his shoulder, back and neck with what they thought was severe muscle spasms. A mass was discovered in his lung, he was having shortness of breath and he ended up being admitted that day. Danny wasn't discharged until Thursday the 15th. Since then he's had a PET scan followed by his first meeting with an oncologist. At this point they do not know where the cancer started, but it has metastasized. It is in one of his lungs, his esophagus, spine, shoulder, leg, arm and liver. There will be a brain scan, more appointments and hopefully he and Patty will have a clear picture of the battle ahead by the end of next week. 
Danny worked at Texas Utilities, when wasn't at TU he was riding in the back of an ambulance helping other people. Help, something we all need at some point, Danny and Patty are no different. Patty stopped working as a hair dresser after her last surgery because she was told she must. Danny is not able to work. The future is scary, there is endless paperwork; do you file for unemployment, SS, disability or all three?! There are more doctors' appointments. It's overwhelming, but they have friends and family who love them. We all feel helpless. If you can help, any donation will be appreciated. All money will be used to help with day to day expenses, bills, gasoline to and from appointments, it will be used for anything unexpected. If you can't donate, prayers warriors, pray for this family. We can't fix this, but we can do something.  We can help lighten the load a little, no amount is too small. This was someone else's idea, and Patty said no. That went in one ear and out the other with me. I said yes, and did not give her a choice.
