Help Dante get home and get medical care.

Hey, my name is Christine and I have been friends with Dante for 15+ years. He has been in Mexico for a while now and has just has some serious medical issues arise. He has had a stroke and gone blind and we do not know if it is temporary or permanent. He is having kidney failure and a number of other issues. They are saying that the medical equipment in the facility cannot handle his height and his weight. With that, they said he only has a 50/50 chance right now. If we can get him home and the proper medical attention that he needs his chances greatly increase. He needs to be brought back to the United States asap. They are asking 30,000 USD for medical transportation which we DO NOT have and have no way of getting... He has been in the hospital for 16 days now and they can only treat him when he has the funds to pay for it and they will not allow him to leave.

We have come up with a solution that costs less. He is going to be discharged tomorrow 8/11/21 and will catch a flight home the same afternoon. He will have assistance since he cannot see. I am able to provide him with funds for the plane tickets but, they will not release him or provide treatment without the current hospital bill being paid in full. The amount for the 16 days is 180,000 peso. That converts to $8,995 USD.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. We are doing everything in our power to bring him home safely!!
