Help Darcy walk without pain!

Hi my name is Colleen and I'm fund raising for Darcy the kitten.

Darcy was rescued off the street one cold wet night last winter. He was about 4 months old, but tiny.

It wasn't noticed at first, but as he became more mobile and friendly it became apparent that he is missing most of his back foot. The vets are not sure whether a young inexperienced mother may have nibbled it off when first cleaning her babies, or whether it was chopped off in a trap.He managed really well until he started exploring outside, that and the amount he had grown has become a real problem. He now is obviously in pain all the time with it, he limps and holds it up. He can't have pain killers all the time as they would damage his liver, so the alternatives are surgery to either amputate an otherwise healthy leg or provide a prosthetic leg/foot for him.

This would mean he would be pain free and could enjoy his life with his buddies.

The surgery is going to cost near enough €5000, but it would be fantastic if we could raise 2 or €3000 towards it.
