Help Dare Segun Falowo Find A New & Safe Home

On the 11th of September, 2023, I was harassed and attacked by members of the Area 1 Community in Ibadan, for holding a gardening knife, wearing jewelry and being "suspicious".

The assailants broke into my home under the guise of keeping "the neighborhood safe" and turned a fetish eye on all my creative objects, calling my paintings conjurations and all corners with salt, shrines.

They attacked me with hands, sticks and "flat side of cutlass", leaving scars and unearthing buried memories of physical abuse and trauma.

On top of all this, they made sure I was evicted immediately from the house where I live, because I am not enough of a human being to be a member of their community, I guess.

I woke up with a home I had built with the eye with which I see the world, and by evening, it was gone to a world suffering from a drought of heart.

Please help me recuperate, and gather enough money to rent out a new space in a safer and more conducive environment.
