Help Darla Howell & her family in their time of need

Hello. My name is Seth Howell, and it is with the heaviest of hearts that I share my Aunt Darla’s story. In August 2022, Darla Howell was notified by her doctors that they found cancer throughout her bones. After much testing, they eventually discovered the source; she was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer that had spread to her bones. She was started on chemotherapy to slow down the cancer and to keep it from spreading. In July of 2023, her doctors had discovered that her cancer had progressed into her liver. Through all this, Darla has kept her positive outlook and her sense of humor. She is a loving mother to her beautiful 9-year-old daughter, Joann, and is a longtime partner to Greg Neff. They all live together along with Darla’s parents in Lehighton, Pennsylvania.

Tragically, Darla’s parents are not able to help much with her care because of their own health and financial problems. Greg had to stop working very recently due to her needing full-time care. Thankfully, she has recently started receiving hospice care to keep her comfortable during this incredibly painful and difficult time. We are trying to help raise money to help this family financially with any of their medical expenses, loss of income, and Darla’s end-of-life expenses. If you are able to help in any way, it would be endlessly appreciated by her family. They have no savings and no life insurance policy to assist in paying for her final expenses and they truly need our help.
