Hi! My name is Pam and I am raising money for my sister, Darlene Fickes, aka”Dippy” ( to her work family). We received devastating news that she has cancer. Renal cell carcinoma, an aggressive cancer. She has tumors in her kidney, hip and brain. Getting ready to start treatment. She has to quit her job because she can hardly walk any more. We appreciate any help, even if it’s your prayers! We definitely need those. Thanks in advance, and I will keep everyone posted.
They are telling us the cancer is destroying the hip bone which is why she has excruciating pain when doing any kind of movement. After treatment, they will decide if they can replace the hip or cut off the ball, then her leg will be 3 in shorter than her other leg and very limited mobility.
