Help Darquetta with her stroke recovery

Hello..My name is Darquetta Banks and I need help raising funds for equipment that will aid me in my recovery. I suffered a massive Brainstem stroke that left me severely disabled and in a wheelchair, unable to speak, eat or drink with sever paralysis. This sounds terrible I know and it is a challenge that I face daily. Unfortunately it was alone when the stroke happened and it was a whole day that passed when I was found on the floor. The road to recovery is a long and constant one. The theory that stroke survivors can not get better is an out dated one. I can make improvements with hard and consistent work. Equipment and therapy are costly and this is a challenge that many stroke survivors face.

I may not be able to be exactly who I once was but there are significant improvement that can be made to improve my quality of life if given the chance and time to work on my recovery. My road to recovery will be life long. I am ready to begin but I need your support. I need a wheelchair van to get to appointments, speech therapy as well as physical therapy and they equipment to help me make these improvements.
