Help Darrell Burch and Family Re-establish After Wildfire
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jameela Burch. My father is Evangelist Darrell Burch. He recently lost his home in Altadena due to the Eaton Canyon wildfire.
The funds raised will go toward securing a safe place for them to live for the next couple of years and replacing essentials like clothing, and daily necessities. It’s a long road ahead, but together, I know we can help them rebuild their lives, piece by piece
I could not imagine starting 2025 off this way.
My heart sank when I heard the news about the fire. The place my dad and stepmom called home, the house that held so many memories, was gone in an instant. Flames devoured not just the structure but every cherished possession, every keepsake that made their house a home.
They’ve always been the kind of people to give, never to ask. My dad has spent his life providing for others, from preaching at various different churches to volunteering for all of my activities growing up. Linda hosted family, neighbors, and church members over for lunch, dinners, and holidays. To see them face such unimaginable loss is heartbreaking.
Now, I’m stepping up to help them. I’m reaching out to the community, to anyone who can lend a helping hand, to help them start over.
Please consider donating or sharing their story. Every bit helps. Let’s remind them that even after such a devastating loss, there’s still so much love and kindness in the world.
