Help the Strough family

On Tuesday evening June 18th 2024, Darren and Amber were on their way home from a family reunion where they did a long motorcycle trip to Iowa. They went with their daughters Madison, Darrah, Marissa, and several other family members who followed behind them in a car. About 15 min away from home, a deer on the highway came out of nowhere and hit Darren and Amber off of their motorcycle where they then were unconscious and luckily survived due to medical training of family members in the car following them. They were then life flighted to Boulder County Hospital where they suffered severe brain injuries. It is with the heaviest heart that I update everyone that my dad Darren passed on 6-25 as this fight was too much for his body to handle. My mom Amber is still in the ICU and still fighting. This Gofundme will be to help pay for bills, food, transportation for the family as they are taking off work to be with them and trying to navigate through this time. Update: my mom Amber has been released from the hospital and is now working on her brain function, mobility and recovery outside of the hospital. Any and all donations will be used for bills, food, and eventually a new home for Amber.
