Help Darryl Recover from Surgery

Hi Everyone, my name is Alex Berch and I’ve put together this fundraiser on behalf of my friend and colleague Darryl Warren. Darryl was assaulted in the Bronx on his way home from visiting his family two weeks ago. The perpetrators broke his right hand, bruised his ribs, and cut his back with a razor blade. In true Darryl fashion, he fought them off (it was 7 on 1) as best he could, and came away relatively okay considering the circumstances.

Darryl has just had surgery to correct the bones in his hand and overall is healing and in good spirits. While he has insurance that covered the emergency procedures, he will be out of work for a few weeks and still has additional medical and living expenses to cover. He could use a little extra help from his extended community if anyone is able to give during these difficult times. No amount is too small, and anything, even if it's only well wishes, is appreciated. Thank you, and stay safe in all capacities friends <3
