Help Dasha's Parents Reclaim Their Home

I am Dasha (Daria Volnova) and my heart is breaking for my mom and dad who recently lost all their life savings and even their modest apartment to an elaborate scam. In October-November 2024, the scammers, posing as a governmental agency, warned my mom that their bank account was in danger and in order to protect it and catch the thieves they needed her to urgently transfer money to a safe account.

This is an irreversible loss. My parents tried to appeal in court, but the documents they were tricked into signing were upheld by the judge. Therefore, they no longer have ownership of the apartment, and they are living there on borrowed time. The bank with their life savings is also helpless. My parents' account has been drained untraceably, and they are unable to recoup any portion of it.

My parents are retired, have been living a modest, hard-working life, always helping those in need. Dad was an engineer and mom worked as a school librarian. Dad is now disabled after a stroke he had in early 2024, and mom is taking care of him.

Cyber crime and phone scams are on the rise because of AI capabilities, and criminals use fake images when they chat via video.
