Help Dave and Bev Recover and Rebuild after tragic fire

Your help is needed to help Dave and Bev DeGroot recover and rebuild their lives after a tragic fire that severely injured both of them, took the life of their beloved dog Buddy, and reduced their home of fifty years to ashes.

100% of these funds will go to Dave and Bev, primarily toward the medical costs that continue to mount with both still recovering in the hospital. Medical recovery will be ongoing for quite a while as both received severe burns and other injuries while barely escaping the fire through a bedroom window.

Afterwards, any residual funds will be used to purchase clothing, personal effects, and other immediate essentials they need to begin the process of rebuilding a household that no longer exists.

Family and friends are grateful they were able to escape the fire but are pained by the hurdles in front of them. Any and all support is greatly appreciated as the upcoming task for them is monumental.

As the oldest nephew on the DeGroot side of the family, I am one of many family members dedicated to stand alongside them and their daughters on the arduous road ahead.
