Help Dave Bradshaw ❤️

Today highly divisive and controversial writer Allison Pearson received a reply from an Ashford-based scientist David Bradshaw to one of her tweets. It expressed his worry that she was stoking hate towards NHS workers.

Allison responded by threatening to sue Dave, asking for his workplace to be revealed publicly before instigating a pile on that she then promoted to her 84.2K followers. Allison, a prominent Telegraph journalist, threatened to sue this regular man, telling him 'you're finished' for disagreeing with her on Twitter. 

In response, Dave swiftly deleted his tweet, apologised and expressed his fear at her threats, replying: 

"hi Allison. Again I apologise. I am very loyal to NHS. I have worked for them in past and I have a very dependent special needs son. I have become very worried seeing the hostility NHS people are facing currently. I am the main breadwinner and my family rely on me for this. I already suffer anxiety as a result. To be frank I’m terrified and feeling suicidal. I am thus pleading for your mercy in this. I would be happy to make a £100 donation to a charity of your choice and will delete my Twitter account within a week.Dave Bradshaw" 

He then followed up with donations to both http://barnsleyhospitalcharity.co.uk and https://bartscharity.org.uk

In response to Allison's reprehensible bullying we would like to raise £2000 to help Dave deal with his mental health worries as well as care properly for his son, who happens to have special needs, through this trying pandemic which is 100% real and serious, unlike Allison would have us believe. 

Twitter bullying is fucking terrifying. Especially if you are a regular Dad being bullied by a high profile journalist who is threatening to make you redundant and intimidating you in front of thousands of people.
