Help Dave in his battle for life

Hello, my name is Heather and I’m starting this fundraiser to help some sweet friends and neighbors of mine, Dave and Tonya, by lessening the financial burden of a long hospitalization.

 

On September 23rd, Dave was admitted to the hospital with complications due to Covid-19. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and had to be placed on a vent, as his oxygen levels were severely low. The next several weeks proved to be a roller coaster ride of seeming improvement, only to then regress. He developed blood clots and contracted a staph infection. Because the damage to his lungs has been so severe, he had to be lifeflighted to another hospital where he now awaits a tracheotomy, which is the last step before a complete lung transplant.

 

To lessen the suffering on this family, I’m hoping to raise as much as I can to ease some of the financial burden so that they can focus on what is necessary and needful…getting Dave home and back to his exuberant self!
