Dave has been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has developed to stage 4. It has spread to his hip and lower back. His doctors have said this is manageable/treatable. The biggest concern right now is the hip and lower back area which has put restrictions on his lifting (20lbs), and repetitive twist, bending & lifting. As a result, he will be on short term disability and will only receive 75% of his wages. His doctors are in the process of planning his treatment plan (radiation, chemo, shots, medication), which should be starting shortly. According to the doctors, if radiation goes to plan, his hip and back could be back to normal by the beginning of August (hopefully).
