Help towards the cost of care for Davina Cervantes

I am setting up this Gofundme in hopes of providing some financial assistance to the family of Davina Jay Cervantes.

Davina - daughter of Dave & Diane Cervantes... was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia on 8/12/18 .........just 3 months before turning the age of 2.
- Since that time she has had multiple rounds of chemo...
- 3 CAR T infusions...
- a stem cell transplant..
- She’s had multiple surgeries for her faulty central lines...
- countless bone marrow biopsy’s and lumbar punctures.
- She is scheduled for another round of CAR T coming up in the very near future
- And , sadly.........this little girl has spent more time in the hospital than at home in the last two years of her life, and she is only 4 years old.

I have known Dave since August of 2015 and not once has he ever asked for one thing, or any assistance for his family. When Davina needs extensive treatment this involves...
- Hotel stays
- Driving back and forth from his home in the central valley of CA to Stanford Medical
- Other medical visits
- Babysitters for his son
- Eating out when needed
- all of the mental stress involved with their daughters diagnosis, caring for their son whose sister has been gone from the home for half of her life in medical care, keeping up with the bills and running a home while his wife is often away with Davina, while Dave still working each while all of this is going on

I am hopeful that this campaign will help bring a little financial relief (at least) to a family who has really had tremendous, life threatening struggles (well beyond COVID) at a time when they should be at home playing with their little girl and just being a family.

Please find it in your heart, during this giving season, to consider providing some financial help to a family whose medical bills are still continuing to grow. (Very soon Davina will spend a month at Stanford Medical, which will involve another month of hotel stays, food bills, travel, and being apart as a family.)
