Help David “Ducky” Tokley

Hi my names Kayla Hardman and I am David Tokleys niece. On August 1st a tragic event occurred and my uncle was severely injured by getting shot in the head. He was a innocent bystander who was outside at the wrong place and wrong time. David is currently at Victoria hospital in London and has gone through one surgery already, he is improving quite well which is all we could of hoped for. Due to having brain surgery there will be a long road of recovery for David. Our family has been staying in a hotel to be close to him as we’re his support system through this big event. David is the most gentle soul around who didn’t deserve this, he absolutely loves his dog max as many knew, and he was always happy about going to work with his Tim Hortons family who miss him dearly and called him Ducky. David has a huge heart for his family and friends and would do anything for you if you needed. So in this time we’re asking for some extra help for David to help with costs of family staying in a hotel to be close, for the long road of recovery that’s to come and for any other expenses we come across as David won’t be able to work for sometime. This was a very unexpected event to happen to David but we are just hoping the best and that recovery comes easy for David.
