Help David Give Nicholas a Hero's Farewell

Hi, my name is David, and I am raising money for my dad Nicholas, who passed away on Wednesday June 12th. He was 100 years old and a World War ll veteran. He had never been sick his whole life and then he developed pneumonia and ended up in the hospital for ten days, but couldn't overcome the illness and passed away in the hospital. He was the toughest person I had ever known, like I said, he was a World War ll veteran, who was a tail gunner on a B-24 bomber. Just barely out of his teens he was thrown into a world war and completed more than fifty bombing missions over Eastern Europe, one mission more dangerous than the next. He had to be mentally and physically tough to get through such a horrific situation, and it was a miracle he made it home alive. I am his only child and I was taking care of him for thirteen years, since my mom passed away. I was unable to do it anymore and I moved him into an assisted living facility for the last three years. I have no brother or sisters to rely on or ask for help and it's been all on me. I have been working seven days a week, but I make just enough to get by and live paycheck to paycheck. He deserves a proper send off and the ultimate respect he has earned. He is the ultimate hero, who has made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Peace and thank you to you all. David
