Help David Ryan

Hi everyone.

I’m Peter Sheath, and I’ve set up this page to support my close friend David Ryan, who is also a great friend to many of you here.

A few weeks ago, David was admitted to The Royal Oldham Hospital with acute pancreatitis and gallstones. Sadly, he’s since lost 80% of his pancreas. This has left him extremely unwell, and he’s facing a long road to recovery, likely being unable to work for many months.

To make matters worse, David had just started a new job, so he’s only receiving basic statutory sick pay. With limited income and living in rented accommodation, this couldn’t have come at a more challenging time. His partner, Jolene, has also had to stop working to care for him during this difficult period.

David has always been a pillar of support for me and so many others. He’s given so much of his time, energy, and resources to help people in need. Now it’s our turn to help him.

Any financial contribution, no matter how small, will make a big difference. It will ease the financial burden on David and Jolene, allowing David to focus on getting better without the added stress of worrying about money.
