Hi, I’m David Reali, founder of LYF SUPPLY — a small but mighty embroidery business based in Troy, NY. What started in the living room of my father’s house in 2016 has become a staple of the local creative and small business community. I took LYF SUPPLY full-time in 2018, and since then, I’ve had the honor of working with both global names like Boll and Branch, GOOP, and Holzweiler — and more importantly, a long list of local businesses that keep our city vibrant.

I’ve always believed in using creativity to connect people. Through LYF SUPPLY, I’ve brought personalized embroidery to weddings, businesses, pop-up events, and individuals looking to express themselves. But as demand has grown, my current embroidery machine can’t keep up.

I’m raising $22,000 to upgrade to the Melco Summit embroidery machine + accessories and software, which will allow me to:

Produce work faster without compromising quality

Handle larger, more complex embroidery designs

Expand mobile pop-up offerings for events

Teach embroidery classes

Better serve my growing customer base

This funding will cover the machine, Mighty Hoops (like caps, sleeves, and pockets), machine setup, and a small buffer for materials and mobile equipment.

We’re raising $22,000 for:

Melco Summit Embroidery Machine – $16,995: High-speed, large 16.1" x 19.6" field, ideal for scaling operations.

Mighty Hoops – $1,000: Magnetic, auto-aligning hoops that work well with thicker fabrics for faster, precise setups.

Accessories, Setup, and Materials – $1,500: For essential machine accessories and materials.

GoFundMe Fees – $1,005: Includes transaction and platform fees.

Contingency – $1,500: For shipping, unexpected costs, and adjustments.
