Help David Weber Overcome Accident Losses

Setting up this fundraiser for David Weber, in the aftermath of being hit by a car while on his bike. Please read on.

Back on June 28th, David was on the receiving end of a hit-and-run while on his bike. He managed to get out of the way enough to keep from being run over, but not out of the way completely. He ended up suffering 9 broken ribs, a dislocated clavicle, collapsed lung, bruised heart, and some nasty road rash.

He was riding to get liquor, beers, and smokes for a neighbor. After being hit, he salvaged the liquor and a couple of beers, and still managed to ride his bike back to his neighborhood. If you know David at all, he is the consummate Marine, so that will come as no surprise. But he's still human after all, and needed to be hospitalized for 6 days.

He's home and recovery is going pretty well, again no surprise. However, he has now lost two weeks of work so far, and plans to start working again in another week, if his healing continues to progress as well as it has been.

But, he has definitely lost income because of this. So, this fundraiser is an opportunity for anyone interested to help out our fearless warrior, and good friend. Thank you!
