Hello everyone, My name is Amanda and I am David's daughter. The other night our whole world changed when we recieved news that my father was in a serious accident. He was left with fractures in his ribs,spine, and neck as well as a collaped lung. He is currently in the ICU for breathing complications. Right now all he keeps worrying about is how he is going to provide for us. For those who do not know my father works so hard to not only provide for himself,my mother and brother (a college student), but when I had my 2 children he refused to let me do it alone and let us live in his home and helps me raise them. He is such a kind hearted man and a wonderful friend to everyone in his life. If you know my dad You know he would give the shirt off of his back for anyone. My dad gave many years of his life to coaching lacrosse , giving back to friends and family in need of help, and of course countless nights of overtime just to make sure we could all live a good comfortable life without a single complaint that he was tired. It is now my turn to do something for him as a thank you for all he has done for me and others so I am creating this gofund me with the goal amount being 1 year of my fathers pay. I have picked one year as a goal based of the fact his line of work is very physical and the doctors do not see him back at all this year. This goal will help me keep ontop of our families bills for him while he is out of work. It will also help us be able to get him the proper physical therapy care that he needs upon hospital release which is still unknown.This will lastly allow my mother to be able to visit him daily and not have to stress about finacial issues when she should be with my father.
