Supporting David’s Journey to Recovery

Hi everyone,

My name is Joseph, and I’m writing here on behalf of my family to share a bit about my older brother, David, and a challenging situation he’s currently facing.

About David

David is a kind-hearted and loving son, father, and brother. For those that know David, you’ll know that he’s truly a unique person. Quirky, funny, and wild are all adjectives that come to mind—but everyone would agree that deep down he’s got a huge heart and he’s a good person. He’s passionate about his Seamoss beverage business, watching 80’s action movies, and grilling in the backyard poolside. He’s always dreamt big and despite myriad setbacks in his life, his optimism remains bigger than ever.

David’s Current Challenge

On Wednesday June 19th, David was involved in a serious vehicle accident. He was taken to a local El Paso hospital with very serious and life-threatening injuries. He’s currently in a coma in the ICU receiving around the clock care and support.

How to Support

Many friends and family members have asked how they can help during this time. We have set up this GoFundMe page to keep everyone updated on David’s progress and to provide a place where people can offer their support if they feel inclined to do so. To be clear, there is no ask or obligation for donations. This page has been set up as an outlet in the event people insist on supporting.
