Help David's beloved daughter

David Villareal passed away unexpectedly on July 11th. David brought levity and a direct sensibility to his encounters with everyone he knew - family, friends, coworkers, and fellow gamers.

More than anything else, David loved being a father. From the moment Delaney was born, she was the light of his life; everything he did was for her. His daily conversations with Delaney and Heidi were able to bridge the distance between their two homes. He never missed a performance or celebration. Their happiest times were when they were all together.

Delaney is starting performing arts middle school this year. She will be facing an empty seat in the audience at every performance, knowing he would have been there. Every night, she will be missing the calls that kept their "little family of three" connected, no matter the distance. She will be missing all of the words of wisdom and insight that he provided her. There are no words that can take away the pain from the loss of her beloved father.

In envisioning what lies ahead for Delaney, I am raising funds for her education and for the opportunities that David would have been able to provide for her. I want her to know how loved David was and how loved she will always be.
