Help David's Farm Serve His Family and Community

My name is Galen and I’m raising funds for my friend and fellow Permaculturist David Otieno in Kenya so he can add poultry to his small farm. David works very hard with limited resources to support his three younger siblings and aging grandmother following his parents death.

David and his family live in a rocky area with limited access to water. He grows vegetables, but is reliant on the natural rains and some years the crops don’t do well. Adding chickens to his farm will provide David and his family an additional source of income and food. The chickens will also provide fertility for the farm and help control insects that are harmful to the crops.

The funds will enable David to establish his poultry flock and build the shelter and fencing needed to keep them safe.
