Help the Dawes Family

Thank you for stopping by to read about our GoFundMe goal to support Jeanette Dawes.
The Dawes family are long time residents of Saltcoats. Jack and Jeanette have made the town their home for over 40 years, raising their family at their residence by the lake. Well known throughout the community, Jack has spent many years in the media field and Jeanette devoted her career to teaching at the Yorkton Regional High School.
On October 2nd, Jeanette was taken into hospital suffering from symptoms of COVID19. Within hours, she was in ICU in Regina and placed on a ventilator, where she remains.
The last few weeks have been incredibly difficult for this family. They struggled physically as a family to overcome COVID19, and are now facing financial strain due to Jeanette’s long term stay in Regina hospital. The family has been making several trips back and forth to Regina during this crisis. They are also renting accommodations near the hospital to be close to Jeanette.
It is hoped that funds can be raised to help them during this difficult time to try and alleviate some of the financial burden they are facing.
Every donation helps and is greatly appreciated. As friends of the family, we will be collecting the donations and passing them on directly to the Dawes family.
