On May 14, 2019, at the age 36, my beautiful sister Dawn was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Dawn, a mother of two amazing children, ages 8 and 7 received the diagnosis that no mother ever wants to hear, her world was shattered. Only 5% of women under the age of 40 get breast cancer. Dawn’s cancer is aggressive and fast growing and her treatment is expected to last about a year. She will undergo extreme chemo therapy, multiple surgeries, invasive testing and possibly radiation therapy. This diagnosis will change Dawn’s life forever.
Dawn is just a few weeks into her her journey but the expenses are already starting to mount. The loss of work due to chemotherapy treatments and side effects are starting to take a toll on her and her family financially.
Our hope for Dawn is for her to be able to fight her breast cancer and win. With your generous financial contributions she will be able to focus all of her energy on her treatments and her recovery. It will also allow her husband Joseph to focus all of his attention on taking care of Dawn and their 2 children while managing the household.
