Help Dawn Wilson Represent The USA

As many of you know, Dawn Wilson donates a lot of her time to worthy causes in Louisville and beyond. The Louisville Metro Human Relations Commission, and serving as an Elder in her church, are only a part of the causes she serves in our community.  However, fencing is her passion, and she has been honing her skills for over a decade. Last year  she was able to compete  as a member of the United States Veteran Fencing Team  and did well  ranking 13th  in the world and was the team USA alternate in the team saber event . This season she was selected again to be a part of the United States Veteran Fencing Team, which is competing in  Livonia, Italy  in October.  This will be a  expensive trip, both for transportation and for lodging.  She is able to cover some of her expenses, but to compete at her best requires extra training and coaching.  As her friends  would like to help her offset those expenses by asking those of you who can to donate what you can afford, as soon as you can afford to, so that she may be able to represent this country as one of the top women veterans saberists in the world.
