Help Dayana Family to get out Gaza war

Let's help Dayana and her family to get out to a safe area due to the war in Gaza.

Actually I hesitated a lot before sharing my plea to you,but it is the first time i feel the death smile around my family every where and after losing hope and receiving bad news about my home and my clinic, I decided to share my story with you.

My name is Dayana, i am a specialist of clinical nutrition.

Our life was stable and i was working in my field but suddenly we lost every thing

For the past 140 days or more, my husband, my children, and I have been displaced from our house and transfered from one city to another and from one tent to another because of the war in Gaza.

We lost our home and my private clinic, also we lost everything we own due to the ongoing war in Gaza.

We moved to camps in central Gaza for a few weeks and we were displaced again to Khan Younis city in middle of gaza and then a third time. Now, we find ourselves displaced in refugee camps in the far south of Gaza in Rafah city.

Now We have no work, no clothes, no food, and no clean water to drink.

Also, the head of the family suffers from chronic diseases, high blood pressure and a chronic crisis, while the children Ziyad and Salam suffer from a chronic crisis and heart disease. We need a clean and safe environment as we suffer from constant shortness of breath.

If we run out of medications, we will be in danger.

We have lost the basic necessities of life and we are living now in a nylon tent where rain and cold seep through, affecting both children and adults. We eat, drink, sleep, and even relieve ourselves inside the tent, a situation no human being can endure. We have lost our privacy.

We have lost the most basic human rights. We don't have clean water to drink, healthy food to eat, clean places to relieve ourselves. Only unhealthy canned food like beans and chickpeas is available in the markets.

These cans don't contain infant formula or the vitamins children need for healthy growth.

For over 5 months, we haven't had vegetables or white or red meat because they're unavailable in the markets. At the same time We become without work or monthly income. Most of us suffer from diseases, viruses, and lung infections.

We face death every moment due to war and diseases and the bombs everywhere around us no secure area in gazastrip.

The healthcare systems have collapsed, along with institutions and associations supporting the needy and displaced.

They can no longer meet the minimum needs of over one and a half million displaced people in an area of ​​no more than 6 square kilometers.

My husband, who holds a master's degree in management, lost his job at the sports club he founded in 2015 following the 2014 war. The club cost us 10 thousands of dollars to establish. Sadly, it has been completely destroyed by the ongoing war.

My son Ziyad, who has always excelled and achieved the highest grades in his school years, dreamed of becoming a family doctor or a dentist. He was supposed to achieve his dream by the end of this year after passing the general secondary education exams. These aspirations were halted due to the war, but he could join Egyptian schools during the current month if he successed to reach Egypt.

My daughter Dana, doesn't differ much from ziad. She aspired to become a nutrition specialist like me next year.

As for my youngest child, his name is Salam, which means peace, love, tolerance, and living in safety. Unfortunately, the past few years of turmoil in Gaza have not enabled him to learn properly. He needs a suitable environment to be able to access his rights, firstly to live safely and secondly to receive an education.

To achieve these goals and escape from the painful reality we live in, we need your help.

Our plan is to move to Egypt through the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt. Unfortunately, the Egyptian authorities require $6,000 for each person to enter their territory, and we are 5 individuals. So, we need $30,000 to move to Egypt, plus financial assistance to rent a house there and stay for at least 12 months till end of the war and rebuilding schools hospitals and homes, which costs about $24,000. We are confident that after that, we can work there and be self-reliant, as both my husband and I hold advanced academic degrees.
