At just 20 years old, Kashaf Alvi has already achieved so much against all odds. Born deaf, he is Pakistan’s first deaf-published author and the youngest deaf author globally. A Microsoft-certified tech enthusiast, short film writer and actor, motivational speaker, and passionate advocate for peace, tolerance, disability inclusivity, and climate change, Kashaf has also served as a front-line volunteer for the Pakistan Red Crescent, helping with mass vaccinations during the COVID era. Honoured with the Pride of Pakistan recognition by the Government of Pakistan and recently honoured with the prestigious UAE Golden Visa, Kashaf is now poised to take the next step in his journey. He has earned a High Achiever Scholarship to study Computer Science at a University in Dubai, UAE, but he needs to raise USD 12,000 (CAD $ 18000) to cover essential costs like the registration fee, accommodation, living expenses, books, software, and relocation.
