Help Dean During His Cancer Fight!

Many of you may know Dean personally or recognise him by his Tyre Fitting Van Travelling all around Bristol helping get you back on the road!

In 2023 Dean received the devastating news that he had Bladder Cancer. After major surgery, to remove as much of the cancer as was recoverable, Dean went through his first round of chemotherapy in the hope this would be successful.

Unfortunately in January 2024 tests revealed that his treatment had failed and heartbreakingly the tumours had spread and is now classed as stage 3 cancer.

Dean begins his last round of chemotherapy in February and we hope and pray this will work. However, if treatment is unsuccessful he will have to undergo life changing surgery in order to potentially safe his life.

Currently Dean should be on bed rest in preparation for his upcoming treatment, however he has a family and children to support, so he is forced to continue to work in order to maintain a life for the people he loves. He will also not be able to physically work whilst undergoing the chemotherapy due to the effects of the treatment.

It goes without saying this is an extremely hard time for Dean and his family and if we can ease the financial burden for them over the next course of treatment, by simply paying the bills so it is not something they have to worry about in any way, hopefully this will allow Dean a period of time in order to focus on fighting this awful battle.

It is unsure how long Dean will need to remain off work and if he will be able to return, however not having to worry about financial pressures will give his children, the two youngest being 7 and 13, a chance to build memories they deserve to have in the mean time.

Any support you can give, no matter how small, will make a massive difference to Dean and give him every opportunity we possibly can to help him to win this fight!
