Help Dean Triano on his road to recovery!
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Jen VanDerhoef and I had the pleasure of working with Dean Triano for a few years at Phoenix Manufacturing, Inc. He ALWAYS was the kindest person with the nicest smile and brightened everyone's day. In May 2023, Dean had some pains and ended up going to the hospital. They did test after test to try to figure out what was going on... Finally after months in the hospital, they found out he had an infection in his spinal cord. This left him unable to walk and thus he has had a long road to recovery. Over a year later, although he is home, he is still in a wheelchair and not able to work or walk. He has many challenges as his home is not conducive for a wheelchair, the mounting healthcare bills, coupled with not being able to work while his wife is working and caretaking for him too. He went from a healthy, happy, hardworking man one day to a person in the hospital fighting to get well and get home. Normal everyday things we take for granted are all a struggle! Despite these challenges, he is keeping a positive attitude and is in therapy trying to be able to walk again. We know many of his friends have asked how to help. As his recovery is taking longer than anyone expected, we would like to see if we can rally together to do a fundraiser to help Dean and his family on his road to recovery!
