Help Dean recover and repair his sunken boat

Hi everyone,

My name is Dean Hoile Jr (Dean Hoile Sr son) I have raised this GoFundme page for my father whos Cayman Fishing Boat boat suddenly sank on the 13th of February in Puerto Deportivo de Sotogrande, Cadiz, Spain.

This event was a huge and sudden shock for my father, and it has been absolutely devastating for him. This vessel was not just a major part of his life personally but also his livelihood. My father has worked on this boat day in and day out for many years, finding happiness in doing what he loves most—fishing, being out at sea, and sharing his passion and experience with his customers.

He has poured his heart into maintaining and running this boat, dedicating himself year after year to providing the best service and experience possible. It has been his source of income, his sense of purpose, and his connection to the water. Losing it so suddenly has left him at a complete loss. Without it, he has no way to continue working, and rebuilding from this setback alone feels impossible.

If you know my father or have ever spent a day out at sea with him, you’ll know that he is a huge character—always full of laughter, making silly jokes, and going above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience for his customers.

The vessel does/did have insurance but due to the age of the vessel it will not cover fully comprehensive claims and we would only be able to make a 3rd party (partial claim) which in this case it is likely there will be no option to do so.

I know he never imagined being in this position—none of us would. That’s why I’m reaching out for help on his behalf. I’m asking for donations to help lift, repair, and restore his vessel so he can get back to doing what he loves - 100% of the donated funds will go DIRECLTY to and be used towards the substantial costs of associated with recovery and repair of the vessel.
