Help Deanna Fight Breast Cancer

Anyone who knows Deanna Alder will tell you she’s a "get in and get it done" type of gal who would sacrifice her own well being for anyone in need. She’s always busy working, teaching, creating, and making sure everyone’s taken care of. She holds a plethora of knowledge in her head of how to make just about any craft you can think of, and she’s always got a smile on her face that usually stems from either her loving and caring nature and genuine happiness to see you, or some mischievous prank that she’ll be laughing about later....
Sadly, she has recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Anyone who knows someone who has fought this type of battle knows how emotionally and physically draining this situation can be, not to mention the financial aspect. Many friends and family have already provided and shown support for her in many ways, and every deed has been very much appreciated.
This spunky lady that any person can’t help but love has been through many trials in life, and blazed through them all with a good attitude. There aren’t many better examples for a person to learn from in how to live a happy life. She has always been one of the most selfless, positive people. She is always willing to help others first. If she sees someone struggling in any type of stressful situation, or without the means to do something they’ve set out to do, she will ALWAYS ask if she can help.
We think it’s time she gets a little help of her own, and that’s why we’ve decided to give you an opportunity to help relieve the burdens she is currently dealing with. The out of pocket costs for what she will be enduring are already adding up, and we’d like her to be able to focus on recovery instead of how to pay the bills. If you don’t have a few dollars to spare, anything is appreciated. Prayers, words of encouragement, a picture you drew yourself… anything that might help lift her spirits and let her know you are thinking about her will go a long way.
Deanna is going in for surgery today, 10/19. She has a long road of recovery ahead, during which she won’t be able to do almost any of the activities she loves so much. Quilting, crafting, cooking, holding or playing with her nursery kids or grandchildren will all be things she’ll have to resist until she can heal properly. We know there are many people who know and love her dearly. Please consider contributing or at least spreading the word for this fund so she can focus on recovering quickly and getting back to being busy and enjoying the important things in life. All donations will be going toward medical bills.
