Help Deanna’s Stroke recovery
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I don’t know how many are aware at this time of my moms condition.
On Monday morning, Deanna was found unresponsive by her husband and rushed to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Tacoma Washington via ambulance. She suffered a stroke and it was confirmed that she has a constricted Carotid artery resulting in low blood pressure to her brain. She was unable to communicate and speak or use her arms and legs. She has had an MRI, CT Angiogram, CT Spine, X-Ray, Echocardiogram. Her blood pressure has been dangerously low, so they have her on medications to keep it as stable as possible. After her family having to fire her doctor and get her a new one, for the best possible care, it has been confirmed that she will need to have brain surgery on the vessels and carotid artery to restore proper blood flow.
Deanna is a wife to an amputee husband, and is the sole provider in her household. She is a grandmother and caretaker to her grand babies twice a week. My mom is the strongest woman I know and has been through some of life’s hardest moments. She is a live and caring friend, and would go above and beyond for anyone in need. As you can imagine expenses are piling up quicker than we could have imagined.
We are asking for help from friends and family while transitioning her onto Washington Family Medical Leave of Absence, which can take up to two weeks to fund. We are thankful for your prayers, kind words and wishes, and the love and support and are eternally grateful for any help you may possibly be able to provide.
Love Deanna’s Family
