DeArah has stage 4 cancer & needs a new heart
Donation protected
My name is Matthew Hyde, I am creating this GoFundMe campaign on behalf of the love of my life, DeArah Freethy, to ask for your financial support in her fight with Cervical cancer (Stage 4).
Thank you for visiting and listening to our tragic yet potentially fixable situation. Even if you cannot donate, this is real, send to a friend that can.
DeArah was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer 4 months ago. She has already battled lymphoma cancer earlier in life, years ago. Due to the potency of traditional chemotherapy she was able to rid her body of the lymphoma but unfortunately it had damaged her heart to the point of being diagnosed with congestive heart failure.
Our goal has been to get DeArah on a list for a heart transplant but unfortunately she will have to be cancer free to qualify for a new heart.
DeArah is a wonderful mother to our 2-year-old son Jackson. We live on a ranch in Lake County with our 6 Dogs, 7 cats, 11 chickens & 1 parrot. DeArah has been an animal lover her whole life so when she asked me how many animals she could have, I told her as many as you want!
Over the years not only did we cultivate our love for animals, we also have been planting trees. We wanted to give love to over 100 fruit trees! Our sustainable farm has peaches, pears, apricots, cherries, apples, figs, grapes, pomegranates, pluots, plums, oranges, lemons, limes, tangerines, and grapefruits! A vegetable garden also exists with an abundance of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, peppers and, squash seasonally!
It has been a real blessing to raise our son Jackson in the gardens, around so many loving animals. We know deep in our hearts that he will grow up knowing who & what his parents are truly about.
Watching the young 2 year old hold the water hose & smile is something DeArah has not done in sometime. I need her to see him grow. Gardener Jackson, her favorite of all the animals!!
DeArah is currently at ITC in Tijuana Mexico, an alternative cancer treatment center that provides their patients other options besides the traditional medicine of the west known to everyone as Chemotherapy and Radiation. We decided to go this route simply because DeArah and I realized that it would be impossible for her heart to withstand another heavy round of chemotherapy . The top doctors at UCSF predicted a life expectancy of 2 years for her to live even with these traditional treatments.
After many sleepless nights of research we decided to explore the other options. ITC is providing DeArah with a less invasive treatment for her cancer. The alternative therapies seem to be helping maintain her quality of life while effectively building her immune system, and shrinking her cancer tumors!
As you can imagine, this has been extremely difficult for her, and our family & friends to imagine life without her. We are extremely grateful for the love & encouragement we receive from everyone, like you!
My goal is to help lighten these medical bills to ensure she has access to as many resources as possible. I believe this goal can be achieved with your help.
Please consider a donation in a manageable amount to assist DeArah and in this time of despair. Please share this. Cancer is horrible. By simply sharing the link to this campaign, you can help harness the strength in numbers.
A dollar from a million people would have a greater impact than a million dollars from one. Our community is strong!!!
Sincerely, Matt Hyde
*It has been brought to my attention that some people would prefer to donate directly to DeArah. Please contact me to facilitate this.
