Help Deb and Gary Bring Supplies to Waynesville

Deb is a native of a small town, Waynesville, in Western North Carolina, an area that has been destroyed by the effects of a historic, unprecedented hurricane last week. Waynesville is 35 miles west of Asheville. Deb was there last week to celebrate her mother’s 87th birthday when the hurricane hit. Because of the mountainous landscape, the effects were catastrophic, and as we all know, people have been greatly affected.

Deb made it back to our home in Northern Virginia with her mother last Tuesday.

Gary and Deb are working with a relief group in Waynesville and organizing a trailer to drive back down on Wednesday with supplies.

I know many of us want to donate and help, but don’t know where to make the greatest impact. If you would like to help fill the trailer, it would be greatly appreciated by those in the most dire of situations! You can make a donation and they will deliver the requested supplies for distribution throughout Haywood County by the Haywood Christian Ministry
