Help Deb & Dave Rebuild Their Home
On Wednesday June 2nd, a fire started on the back porch of Deb and Dave's house in Glendale, AZ. Dave was at work, but Deb was in a bath when the fire began to spread. She heard a large explosion, and when she ran out of the bathroom and opened her back door, she witnessed her patio area engulfed in flames. She quickly called the Glendale Fire Department, but even with their quick response, the fire had already reached the attic and was starting to overtake the house.
After the fire was extinguished, the combination of fire damage and water damage left their house completely unsalvageable. After discussing with contractors and their insurance company, it has been determined that that only way to move forward is to demolish the house and completely rebuild.
Unfortunately, the rebuild costs greatly exceed their insurance coverage and supplemental assistance is needed. The ask is to fund raise $50,000 to cover the difference between what insurance will provide and what is needed to rebuild their home.
